YOUR TRIAL
Trials are recommended 1-2 months prior to the big day. Bring Photos + An Open Mind. We schedule 1 hour for hair trials and 1 hour for makeup trials. On occasion a second trial is requested or necessary to achieve the desired look. Please note all additional appointments / time are at the expense of the client and trials are scheduled during the week as our weekends are usually fully booked with weddings.
We ask that you arrive with a clean, well moisturized face - NO makeup please! Dirty hair is NOT great for updos so please arrive with clean, dry hair.
As we all know (or may we don't ALL know) our brows frame our face. We LOVE to clean up brows and/or shape them prior to the trial. Drop us a note if you would like to include this service in your trial and we will do our best to hook you up with our famous brow wizards.
We welcome you to bring a guest to your trial for feedback and support. This is such an exciting time for you, them and us! Trials take place at our salon in Old Wethersfield, CT. We do not travel for trials.
Feel free to bring any accessories you plan on wearing on the big day, veil included. If you don't have any of these items in yet, don't fret! We can still proceed without them.

Our on-site beauty team will travel anywhere, literally.
Hair
We are known for our oversized buns and breathtaking curls. If you are looking for a more subtle or boho braided look, we got that too! Our stylists live, breathe and play with hair all day. Please note that the use of extensions and hair assistants such as padding is recommended to achieve a show stoping upstyle or down style. Long/thick hair may be subject to additional fees.
Makeup
Ah...where do we begin. Airbrush to us is like the butter to our bread. We love a good traditional style application but our hearts swoon for our TEMPTU PRO silicon formulated foundation. Please note you may want to consider facial waxing before the big day as airbrush isn't super friendly with peach fuzz!
Kristyn and Crystal, our Bridal Administrators, will be your main point of contact from the day you inquire to the day of your wedding. As past brides themselves, they understand the importance of timely responses so that you can get the answers you need and move onto the fun parts of planning your wedding.
