We require a $200 NON REFUNDABLE deposit (+tax and $8 administrative fee) to book your appointment. Your deposit is deducted from the total cost at the time of your visit and is transferable once outside 30 days of your appointment. If you need to reschedule for ANY reason within 30 days it will result in the forfeit of the original deposit and require another non refundable $200 deposit to book the new appointment. We do not hold/book any appointments without a deposit and signed disclosure.
You cannot receive this procedure if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or receiving chemo therapy during the time of the appointment. If you keloid scar, there is a risk that you may keloid scar with this procedure. If you are under 18, you need a parent/guardian to accompany you to your appointments and sign for you. If you are a diabetic, insulin dependent or not, we require a doctor clearance on their letterhead. As with all tattoos, it is unpredictable how your skin will take/hold ink. We cannot guarantee the final result of any aspects of the tattoo including color, ink retention, appearance of lines, etc.
The whole initial appointment is about 1.5 hours and the process is you fill out medical paperwork including a release, we may take a before picture, clean up the brows with wax and/or tweezing, fill them in, decide on the shape you like, apply a topical anesthetic, tattoo, and take an after picture. Initial healing/scabbing is about 1-2 weeks (everyone is different) and full healing for visibility takes about 6-8 weeks. Your first 6-8 week touch up is included in the initial total cost. Any additional appointments whether requested, suggested, or required are an additional cost of $200+tax. Although most clients are satisfied after 2 appointments, some clients need more work than others; so we cannot guarantee you won't need more appointments for your specific desired look. As long as the area doesn't need to be mapped out again, it's considered a touch up. The amount of time it "lasts" in between touchups is entirely individually based. It's subjective, so basically you decide when you feel like you need one, provided the outline is still clearly visible for the artist.
Procedure preparation: Let your brows grow out and stop using any retinal and/or acne medication at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Do not consume any alcohol or blood thinners (unless prescribed by a doctor) 24 hours before your appointment.
Aftercare: Strenuous activity/sweating is not recommended for at least 2 days post procedure and you should avoid the sun, saltwater, and chlorine while healing. Do not pick or scratch scabs, sleep on the tattoo, use retinal anywhere near, or apply anything to the tattooed area. You cannot get them wet until your scabs come off and scabbing could be 1-2 weeks; everyone is different. Washing around them is fine. After you're done scabbing it is important to always protect your tattoo from sun exposure and any products that may peel the skin.
